Museum of the Occupation of Latvia has published the sixth, improved and supplemented book Latvia Under the Rule of the Communist Soviet Union and National Socialist Germany, 1940–1991. The book is a public educational story of the occupation of Latvia based on the research and knowledge of historians about the crimes of both occupation powers against the Latvian state, people, and land. The book is especially important at the present moment, when we can draw parallels between the occupation of Latvia in 1940 and the Ukrainian war against the invaders.
