Here a bridge is being built from the past to the present and, possibly, to the future: The dialectical connection between prudence and wisdom of our ancestors is analysed; the possibilities of formalising certain types of thinking, approaches, and methods in the intellect and consciousness are determined. A scientific typology of the emergence of types of artificial intelligence (AI) is presented; it can be easily formalised and applied to other dynamic objects. The tendency of development of AI towards artificial consciousness and further towards artificial thinking in general is considered.
