Izchok Adirim, Dr. habil. oec. (1978), worked for 15 years (1964–1979) at the Latvian Academy of Sciences (LAS), Institute of Economics, where he headed the economic-mathematical department. Scientific interests: modelling and analysis and forecasting of the republic’s economy. Author of an article published in the LAS Bulletin and of several books published by Zinātne Publishers, two of which were awarded by the Presidium of the Latvian Academy of Sciences.
