For a fair state: from Kārlis Balodis to Lindon Larouche

Keywords: Kārlis Balodis, Lindon LaRouche, Joseph Stiglitz, Lester Thurov, capitalism, socialism, economic paradigm, happiness index, islamism
Language: In Latvian

The article is dedicated to the economist Kārlis Balodis. Reference is made to the similarity between his “future state” project and Lindon LaRouche’s theory of “physical economy”. The unfair distribution of income in capitalism is illustrated by Joseph Stiglitz and Lester Thurov. Searches for the economic paradigm are listed, including the national happiness index. Discussing the future of Europe, the global projects theory and the dangers of Islam are discussed. In conclusion, economists have failed to come up with a generally accepted theory of how to build a fair state, a fair world.
