Dr. oec. Svetlana Jesiļevska is an expert in economics at the Latvian Council of Science, the author of several scientific publications, books and publications in the mass-media devoted to the methodological aspects of statistics on innovations and problems of the development of innovative companies in Latvia. In 2015, Svetlana Jesiļevska won a prize, in the competition of 35 researchers from 27 countries, for the study “Iterative method for reducing the impact of outlying data points: Ensuring data quality”. In the study, the author addresses the problem of ensuring the completeness of the data, so that they can be used for further processing.
