Dr. Gunda Reire is Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and Director of the Centre for International Studies. She holds the position of visiting professor at the Riga Graduate School of Law and Riga Stradiņš University. Her core research interests include global peace and security, strategic communications, Russia, and multilateral cooperation. She has served as Deputy Chairperson of the Strategic Analysis Commission under the auspices of the President of Latvia, Chief of Staff of the Speaker’s Office, and Advisor to several
ministers. She holds a doctoral degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Latvia. G. Reire has held a Residing Fulbright Research Fellow position at the John Hopkins University’s SAIS Center for Transatlantic Relations.
