Antra Medne is the Director of Aleksandrs Čaks Museum, Member of the Board of ICOM Latvia (International Council of Museums). She has Masters degree in art, Latvian Academy of Culture, in cultural theory, and Bachelors degree in cultural education work at the Latvian State Conservatory. In 2016, she completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Latvia. Awards: Latvian Ministry of Culture Certificate of Recognition 2009 and Aleksandrs Čaks Award 2011. She is an author of more than 20 popular scientific publications, including books: Čaks in the Kitchen (2011), Poet of the Present (2012), City Variations (2013), Aleksandrs Čaks Family Postcard Album (2015), Aleksandrs Čaks. Photoalbum (2018) — author and editor.
